Why isn't there certain applications availiable on my used EVO?

In all likelihood, the apps require a later version of Android than you have. I believe the EVO was loaded with 2.1 (Eclair). Those apps might require 2.2 (FroYo). I don't know if an update for that device has been released as yet.
