Movie Theatre, Fandango Question??

im 16, i want to get into a rated r movie, my parents are cool with it, can i buy my ticket online and just go to the theatre and not be dealt **** by them, such as: we need to see your id?....btw i kno i can have my parent go in there and buy it for me but i have a car and having them come with me to the theatre to say i can go is stupid
