What will he do for my panic attacks?

each day, i have multiple spells of panic attacks. i get tunnel vision and i feel like someones poking me in the chest, i cant sleep, and i get afraid of the dark. i cant even go into my own kitchen in the middle of the night because i fear that someone is there ready to attack me. i recently was in the hospital for bulemia where they put me on 1mg of xanex every 4-6 hours. they didnt give me a perscription though and it really helped with my anxiety. what will my doctor do for me im on multiple medications for depression like lamictal and geodon. will my primary doctor perscribe me xanex?
