Should I dump him? please answer?

I really like this guy but he smothers me sometimes. He doesn't buy me alto (doesn't matter to me) but he wont stop hugging me and trying to kiss me and its to much. He is my first bf and he is moving to fast for me. And Im scared. plus everything in my life is changing and I don't want to have to worry about a boyfriend anymore. plus he also forgot my b-day when I told him the day before till I hinted at it by telling him I got my learners permit. How could I let him down easy? Should I wait till the last day of school?
