Melancholy fiddle songs?

If by "fiddle", you mean violin and by song you mean musical composition, we could probably help. Althought it wasn't orignally composed for violin, I really like Rachmaninoff's Vocalise. It's a melancholy but also beautiful piece, and sounds great on almost any instrument in my opinion. Hope this helped!
