Are you one of those people who relationships just don't suit?

Have you decided through choice that you will be alone? What made you decide this? I personally feel that i'm just hopeless in a relationship, but when i'm single i do miss being with someone. I'm about to give up though as that's three long term ones i've been in and i just end up feeling smothered and without my freedom and independence. Thanks.
